Welcome to Scheherazade's Chamber, a place to showcase the stories in my life. I write (and occasionally illustrate) books for all ages, including a completed YA fantasy and two picture books. My current Big Project is Djinn, an historical fantasy set in the waning days of the Ottoman Empire.
I live with my husband, four children, three snakes, and a part-time cat.
I am ambivalent about the Oxford comma. Logically I don't need it, and yet I feel wrong without it.
